One Big Mashup
0
For almost a year now I’ve been looking for the right tools to mash a bunch of RSS feeds together and then output them in a sorted and filtered fashion. I used CaRP and Grouper (from Gecko Tribe) for most of that time period, but never did solve the problem of intermixing multiple feeds.
A few days ago (I just saw it today) Yahoo announced a new free service called Yahoo Pipes, which allows me to use a visual editor and put together components in a flow-chart way to take multiple input feeds and create a single output feed that then is publicly available. Read my post about this!
Here’s a test that I ran. This feed is created from a number of feeds from blogs that I read routinely and it takes them all and sorts them by date and intermixes them here.
